SEVERE WEATHER
During anticipated severe weather, the Emergency Operations Center will activate to monitor conditions. If trained radar operators detect a potentially damaging event moving toward our communities, the outdoor warning sirens may be sounded. Sirens will also be activated if a warning has been issued by the National Weather Service.

Outdoor Warning Sirens
​
The Washington County EOC performs monthly testing of outdoor warning sirens for the City of Bartlesville and the Washington County communities of Copan, Dewey, Ochelata, Ramona, Jarrett Farms, and Vera.
​
Siren testing occurs on the first Monday of each month at 1:15 PM, weather permitting. If conditions are unfavorable, the test will be rescheduled for the following Monday.
